It is so amazing how there are all the completely different ways of making sounds but they all come together and it is awesome. the pictures are intriguing and lower quality at the same time but that is how it is naturally like seeing as this was taken in the UK!
This comment was for the 22 second long video on the home page.

After seeing the opening ceremony live on sky I actually haven't seen it from the point of view of someone in London that is outside the stadium. It is fascinating how people on the other side of the world can share their moments and exactly what they saw on the night of the ceremony.

  15. Well Melissa, you have hooked me in to your online learning already. I love the green hair you have chosen for your voki representative. I can't wait to see what your PLJ presentation is on and how you choose to present your learning. I know that you will be thinking of your audience when you choose the best digital learning tool to showcase your work - as you have been so selective with these fabulous word choices when making your voki. Have fun learning online!

  21. Wow Melissa, two vokis. I am impressed. I am so impressed to hear how much you are enjoying this course. Thank you for your kind words. I am looking forward to seeing what else you discover and how you communicate this with others - you have such a clever way with words!

  22. You are more than welcome Melissa. I think Miss Milne and I are enjoying the course as much as you are! Thank you for taking the initiative to reflect on the progress of Olympics Online. I had been thinking that on Friday we might stop for a moment and reflect on where we are after 2 weeks of online inquiry. You must be able to read my mind! Thanks for passing on this great idea and for discovering that two vokis can indeed share the same space.

  24. What is a Voki?
A Voki is an animated, digital, online-connected character that is able to be customized to share your goals with funk.
Customizing your Voki with clothes, hair colours and hair styles isn't the most important thing for creating your character, but using your imagination to produce a picturesque character is something you are able to do. You have the technology that allows you to change your character to a monster, person or animal and change their body width, length and colour at you fingertips.
There is no point in customizing a Voki without giving it a voice. You are able to record your own voice or text type, you have a talking time limit of one minute. If you type in your words, you can choose an accent. Look for the select box below the text box. When you ave completed your recording or typing, click publish and name your Voki. Then there will there be a box with a code, click the copy button above that box. Now sign into your blog, type in the username/email eg, Bobslob@gmail.com, and the password. If you have your own page, click edit and paste the copied code onto the blank space, click update and check out your newly updated blog page!
Vokis are great models of sharing goals and things about yourself. They are useful for learning about online, digital tools.
