Hey guys! How are you doing? Me and my family are great time in LA so far...which has been one day. Right now we're crashing in the Radisson Suite Hotel, (in Los Angeles). To get here we had to have a joint flight. First we flew to Sydney which took 3 hours, then we flew to America which took roughly 13 hours. As soon as we got to the hotel we went to the mall. They have a BIG stand with heaps of jars filled with candy! They also sell GIANT pretzels( as shown in the picture above). Today was a bright sunny day. It was 31 degrees! Tomorrow me and my fam are heading to Knott's Berry Farm. It's going to be really fun:D

Em those pretzels are massive and I wish I could go on a trip like that, must have been amazing so far and to get pictures on your blog in two days is pretty quick, I can't wait until you send more pictures and to see you next term!!! Hi! Today I went to Knott's Berry Farm and it was sooooo much fun! We went on a lot of rides, and they were extremely fast! I was surprised that I didn't throw up.. The rides were very twisty, for most of them we flipped upside down and made you really dizzy after woods. We all really enjoyed it, so I hope to go there next time. It was so much fun, we actually stayed there for 7 1/2 hours! I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that.. Hope your guys are ok, see ya in 3 weeks, Emz

As Ellen said, it is definitely not the same room 13 atomsphere without you, at lunch and morning tea the pickle/potatoes don't have the comedy-full Emily! Hi guys! I'm glad I have more followers! Today my family went to the Disneyland theme park, to go on more rides! We met Pluto the dog and saw the chipmunks from Mickey Mouse. It was a great day with lots of sun, but there were sooooo many people there. We had to wait about half an hour to go on each ride, so we didn't go on all of them. My family are going there tomorrow though, so we can get as many done as possible. We were so impressed with the displays and laser technology and the robots! Hello guys. Today it is Thursday in America, but Friday in New Zealand, so happy holidays! Today me Alex, mum, and dad are having a sort of rest day, from all the busy fun at amusment parks. I'm already exhausted, the days are so hot and busy, we have to walk around everywhere. But on the bright side, each day is always new and exciting and at the end of the day........I just go in the hotel's pool and spa.........aaaahhhhh..

Hi guys, hope you are having some nice holidays. I can't believe I have more than 60 comments on my blog! I've never expected so many! Today it was SIZZELING HOT! It was 39 degrees in celcius and 102 in farenheight! My family went to the "Universal Studios HollyWood....The entertainment capital of LA! There were heaps of cool rides, including a Simpsons ride, a dinosaur ride, a Transformers ride, a Shrek ride, a mummy ride and heaps more. There was also a tour around the HollyWood movie sets. There was a New York City set that was shown in the Amazing Spider Man movie and in one of Lady Gaga's music videos. There was also a mini Mexican city set and a crash scene with a real crashed plane in there, it all looked really realistic! After that we were bought around the movie "Jaws" set, some of the scenes from King Kong, the "Desperate House Wives" set, and some other ones I can't remember the name of.... The trip was taken in a mini bus outside with no windows. We also got to go in a tunnel with movie sheets and watch the mini mivie our 3-D glasses and watch a scary scene from King Kong, it was really cool! Well bye! Can't wait to see you guys in term 4. I found a star that said Frances Drake on it, we were thinking she might be related to us. I searched her up that showed a picture of her, and she kind of looked a bit like our genealogy. Aloha everyone! Me, Alex, mum and dad have finally made it to Hawaii, the second part of our holiday journey. We will be staying in the Aston Wikiki Sunset Hotel, for a week then we will be heading home back to New Zealand. Hawaii is a very warm and relaxing place. Everyone is so friendly! We spent our first day in the tropical weather at the beach. The water is crystal clear and wasn't that cold! It was really funny because when we traveled to LA we only bought one suitcase. When we left to go to Hawaii we went to the airport with 7 suitcases filled with stuff! Bye you guys, Aloha!
Aloha Emz! I know it is about time I came on here! My family and I have been super busy going for runs bike ride, eating pasta and going on holiday. At the moment we are in Mt Maunganui with my Nana and Grandad. Earlier on we went to bayfair, the mall up here! I am missing you so much, can't wait to see you at school! The unfortunate part is we are going to school soon! I hope you and everyone else are eating pasta and having a great holiday. I know this comment is random but I would love to see Ireland. Aloha! Yesterday me and the family went around hawaii and saw some famous views of the beaches.
We traveled around in a jeep that my dad rented for us. It was really cool because there was a sunroof and no windows, so we could stick half our bodies out the windows!:D
After a long day of sight seeing we decided to go to a nearby beach and go snorkelling! It was heaps of fun. We actually saw a real-life wild sea turtle!-Yay!

Hello guys. Today it is Thursday in America, but Friday in New Zealand, so happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteToday me Alex, mum, and dad are having a sort of rest day, from all the busy fun at amusment parks.
We're going to do some shopping at the LA mall......and buy some new shoes!!! And other stuff..
I've still got to send some more pictures from disneyland so I'll do that soon.

Hi guys, hope you are having some nice holidays. I can't believe I have more than 60 comments on my blog! I've never expected so many!
ReplyDeleteToday it was SIZZELING HOT! It was 39 degrees in celcius and 102 in farenheight!
My family went to the "Universal Studios HollyWood....The entertainment capital of LA!
There were heaps of cool rides, including a Simpsons ride, a dinosaur ride, a Transformers ride, a Shrek ride, a mummy ride and heaps more.
There was also a tour around the HollyWood movie sets. There was a New York City set that was shown in the Amazing Spider Man movie and in one of Lady Gaga's music videos.
There was also a mini Mexican city set and a crash scene with a real crashed plane in there, it all looked really realistic!
After that we were bought around the movie "Jaws" set, some of the scenes from King Kong, the "Desperate House Wives" set, and some other ones I can't remember the name of....
The trip was taken in a mini bus outside with no windows. We also got to go in a tunnel with movie sheets and watch the mini mivie our 3-D glasses and watch a scary scene from King Kong, it was really cool!

Oh yay! Room service again! It's so useful when you don't have to make your bed or clean your room..........it's one of the things I'm going to miss when I get back home....sigh.

DeleteHi Jake. I didn't know that Harry from room 14 lived next-door to your house, how cool! The pictures of me with the hollywood stars our some of my favourite pictures. I found a star that said Frances Drake on it, we were thinking she might be related to us. I searched her up that showed a picture of her, and she kind of looked a bit like our genealogy.

Aloha everyone! Me, Alex, mum and dad have finally made it to Hawaii, the second part of our holiday journey. We will be staying in the Aston Wikiki Sunset Hotel, for a week then we will be heading home back to New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteHawaii is a very warm and relaxing place. Everyone is so friendly!
We spent our first day in the tropical weather at the beach. The water is crystal clear and wasn't that cold!
It was really funny because when we traveled to LA we only bought one suitcase. When we left to go to Hawaii we went to the airport with 7 suitcases filled with stuff!

ReplyDeleteI know it is about time I came on here! My family and I have been super busy going for runs bike ride, eating pasta and going on holiday.
At the moment we are in Mt Maunganui with my Nana and Grandad. Earlier on we went to bayfair, the mall up here! I am missing you so much, can't wait to see you at school! The unfortunate part is we are going to school soon! I hope you and everyone else are eating pasta and having a great holiday. I know this comment is random but I would love to see Ireland. On an entirely different topic- Emily, you and your Family look like you have been sunburt alot! When I get home I have to clean and rearrange my room completely so my cousins Katey and her BF Ben can sleep somewhere! :( We miss you so much Emz, great pics, time for dinner of something!

ReplyDeleteYesterday me and the family went around hawaii and saw some famous views of the beaches.
We traveled around in a jeep that my dad rented for us. It was really cool because there was a sunroof and no windows, so we could stick half our bodies out the windows!:D
After a long day of sight seeing we decided to go to a nearby beach and go snorkelling! It was heaps of fun. We actually saw a real-life wild sea turtle!-Yay!
